This picture was taken at my last high school meet. I like this picture because when I see it i'm reminded of all my feelings I had that night. The large white "We R Lake Park" banner contrasts the navy blue uniform most of us had on. It makes me think that we were more than a team, we were a family. In the picture you can see all of us having  peace signs for "Peace out" since it was the last meet of the season. For me as a senior this picture represents the last track meet of my high school career. I'm reminded that was the last time I wore that uniform and competed with those girls. This picture also motives me. I didn't perform how I wanted at this meet. So I wasn't able to go to the state meet. When I see this picture I'm remained of my goals and how I never want to feel that feeling of defeat again. 

I expect to write about meaningful subjects. I want to show my passions and personality though my writings. I want to challenge myself to express true feelings and go beyond the surface level. I'm expecting to improve my communication through writing in this class by learning how to efficiently tell readers my thoughts and ideas. I predict I will leave this class with a new outlook on writing and gain skills that will benefit me in the future.
